Quars surface (“Silestone”)

The quartz surface is known as "Silestone" due to the best-known brand that produces this material. It is a precast material, compound by a 5% of resin and a 95% of quartz and Silicon approximately. It is a uniform material without variations with a wide range of colors. Presents a high hardness and scratch resistance. Due to its 1% porosity is resistant to staining of almost all kinds of materials. Currently widely used in kitchens, bathrooms, stairs, and others. By their content of resin, however, we must avoid excessively hot surfaces such as casseroles. There are a number of national and international brands that an infinite range of colors can be found.
